The Northwest College rodeo team is set to kick off its fall season this weekend, starting once again with the annual Trapper Rodeo on Friday and Saturday.
The rodeo will take place at the Cody Stampede Rodeo Grounds with the slack rounds beginning at 9 a.m. each day, while evening performances will be at 7 p.m. both days.
Northwest will have a quick fall season with three rodeos over the month of September, with additional rodeos at Dawson Community College and University of Montana-Western before breaking for the winter season.
The Trappers are hoping for a higher finish this season after the men finished fourth and the women finished sixth last year, competing in the Big Sky Region in the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.
